About the Organization
For twenty-six months Jason battled this little
known, insidious disease. His courage, faith, and personal
strength amazed those around him. Time after time Jason displayed
a positive attitude in the face of disease-related setbacks
and disappointments. Eventually it became clear to Jason the
testicular cancer was winning the battle for the health of
his body.
Again displaying his strength and courage,
Jason uplifted those around him by stating his wish that every
middle school and high school male in the St. Louis area be
educated about testicular cancer. Jason believed if one young
man’s life could be saved by learning from his experience
with testicular cancer, then his life would have meaning.
It is from Jason’s wish that this organization,
the Jason A. Struble Memorial Cancer Fund, Inc., draws its
mission: to educate young men about testicular cancer.
