In April 2018, TCF and the Gavers Community Cancer Foundation held a joint Summit near Chicago with Jonny Imerman of Imerman Angels, survivor stories and a Pat Green benefit concert.
The Gavers / TCF Summit ran April 6-8, 2018 at the Aloft Chicago O'Hare in Rosemont, Illinois, co-hosted with the Gavers Community Cancer Foundation. Friday opened with registration and life coach Mike Shereck.
Saturday featured Jonny Imerman of Imerman Angels, survivor and caregiver breakouts with Connor O'Leary and Sandra Manley, and a stories panel with Joy Piccolo O'Connell, Connor O'Leary and Steve Gavers. Sandra Manley led a Q&A on finding your new normal, and the evening closed with a free GCCF benefit concert by Texas country artist Pat Green at Joe's Live.
Survivors, caregivers and clinicians meet again at the Four Seasons Las Vegas. Travel scholarships are available.
