About Matt Ferstler
Matt Ferstler
Founder & Board Chair
Matt Ferstler is the founder of the Testicular Cancer Foundation (TCF) and a longtime advocate for testicular cancer awareness, education, and early detection. His commitment to saving lives began in 2009, when TCF was originally launched as Single Jingles, a grassroots effort focused on breaking the stigma around men’s health and encouraging young men to take ownership of their well-being.
From the earliest days of the organization, Matt played a central role in shaping TCF’s mission and voice. He helped build the foundation’s focus on clear, relatable education about testicular cancer, empowering men to recognize warning signs, perform regular testicular self-exams, and seek medical care without fear or shame. That early work laid the groundwork for what would soon become the Testicular Cancer Foundation, now the nation’s leading full-time staffed nonprofit dedicated exclusively to testicular cancer education and support.
As TCF evolved, Matt remained deeply engaged in expanding the organization’s reach and credibility. His leadership helped establish TCF as a trusted resource for patients, survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, schools, and community organizations across the United States. Under his guidance and continued involvement, TCF has prioritized factual, accessible information and peer-driven support, ensuring that no one faces testicular cancer alone.
Matt’s passion for the mission is rooted in a belief that early detection saves lives and that honest conversations can change outcomes. Through years of advocacy, collaboration, and persistence, he has helped transform a simple idea into a national movement focused on education, awareness, and survivorship.
Today, Matt Ferstler’s legacy is reflected in every life impacted by TCF’s programs and resources. His work continues to influence the organization’s commitment to accountability, compassion, and a singular goal: saving lives through early detection.
