About Dr. Bolte

Dr. Sage Bolte is a nationally recognized leader at the intersection of oncology, sexual health, and healthcare philanthropy. She currently serves as Chief Philanthropy Officer and President of the Inova Health Foundation, where she leads fundraising strategy and partnerships in support of world-class patient care, research, and innovation across the Inova Health System.

Dr. Bolte began her career as a clinical oncology social worker, joining Inova in 2004 and later serving as Executive Director of Life with Cancer and patient experience leader at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute. Her work has been instrumental in advancing comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care models that integrate psychosocial support, survivorship, and quality-of-life outcomes.

Under her leadership, Inova's philanthropic efforts have grown substantially, helping raise hundreds of millions of dollars to support clinical programs and capital initiatives.
