Testicular Cancer Foundation Is Now Available in 6 Languages
Awareness doesn't stop at borders. Neither should we.
Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in males ages 15 to 35. That age range doesn't change based on where you're from. The fear of a lump, the confusion about what to do next, the need for clear information at the right moment — those are universal experiences.
Which is why we're proud to announce that the Testicular Cancer Foundation website is now available in six languages:
🇺🇸 English
🇪🇸 Spanish
🇩🇪 German
🇫🇷 French
🇧🇷 Brazilian Portuguese
🇳🇱 Dutch
🇹🇷 Turkish
You can switch languages using the selector in the bottom right corner of any page on testicularcancer.org.
Why This Matters
TCF has always been driven by one goal: saving lives through education. Early detection is the difference between a straightforward treatment and a much harder road. The survival rate for testicular cancer caught at Stage 1 is 99%. That number is powerful — but only if people know it.
For years, our content has been exclusively in English. That means a young man in São Paulo, Stuttgart, or Istanbul searching for answers after finding something unusual could land on our site and leave without the information he needed — simply because of a language barrier.
That changes today.
How We Chose These Languages
We looked at where our visitors were actually coming from. Spanish has been part of our site for some time, reflecting the significant Spanish-speaking audience we serve. For the new additions, we analyzed visitor data, engagement rates, and where awareness gaps are greatest.
German, French, Dutch, and Turkish visitors all showed strong engagement with our content — they were spending real time on our pages, reading, learning. Brazilian Portuguese reflects the large and growing audience we see from Brazil, where testicular cancer awareness resources in Portuguese are limited.
These aren't arbitrary choices. They're data-driven decisions rooted in where we can make the biggest difference.
What's Translated
Our full site content is available in all six languages, including:
Self-exam instructions — the most critical content we have
The TC Navigator — our 24/7 AI-powered support tool
We use Weglot to power our translations, which combines machine translation with the ability to manually refine key content. Over time, we'll continue to improve and optimize translations to ensure accuracy and cultural relevance.
Help Us Spread the Word
If you know someone who would benefit from accessing testicular cancer information in any of these languages, please share our site with them. A simple share, a repost, or a message to a friend could be the reason someone catches this disease early.
Testicular cancer is highly treatable. The information is now available in more languages than ever. Let's make sure it reaches the people who need it.
